HUSD in partnership with Copperstar Repertory Co. presents this family favorite Broadway musical is based on the comic strip "Little Orphan Annie". This amazing Tony Award winning musical is set in 1933, and follows a spunky red-haired 10-year-old orphan girl (and her dog, Sandy) as she attempts to find her parents in order to escape a terrible situation at the orphanage. Despite her misfortune, Annie never loses hope and lights up the lives of all who know her with her optimism as she sings uplifting Broadway classics like, "Maybe" and "Tomorrow". Her many adventures include a wide variety of characters as lovable Annie wins our hearts.
