Copperstar Repertory Company depends on the support of volunteers to perform many roles. From ushering to building sets, from painting scenery to serving snacks, we want you to join us in fulfilling our goal of bringing the joy of live theater to thousands of people each season through our performances and education outreach programs! Here is a list of some of the opportunities where you can serve:
Concessions
Volunteers help serve refreshments during intermission and assist with stocking and taking inventory prior to performances.
Load-In and Strike
Volunteers help set up the lights and sets and prepare the costumes and props prior to, and after, the production.
Props
Volunteers help make, collect, purchase and manage the props.
Running the Show
Volunteers can help backstage during performances by helping the cast members with costumes and props, and ensuring that cast members are where they need to be when they need to be there.
Set Construction
Volunteers help with the construction and painting of sets. Experience is helpful but not necessary!
Usher
Volunteers greet guests, take tickets, and distribute programs.
